OPEL ARENA, home to 1. FSV Mainz 05, hosted this year’s ESSMA Safety & Security Workshop. Over 55 ESSMA Members from 18 countries joined us for two days of knowledge sharing and exchanging best practices regarding stewarding, crowd management, body searches, bag policies and facial recognition.

FSV Mainz 05 - and Stephan Bandholz – Stadium Manager at OPEL ARENA – about their safety department and our upcoming ESSMA Safety & Security Workshop. OPEL ARENA is the host venue of our 2019 Safety & Security Workshop on 8 and 9 October during which the club will share their best practices regarding bag policies and stewarding.
