Crystal Palace FC have plans to upgrade their current Selhurst Park. The plans include a new five-storey stand, resulting in a stadium capacity increase from 26,000 to more than 34,000 seats. The redevelopment plans are designed by stadium architects KSS and construction costs are expected to be between €85 and 115 million.

The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy (SC) has unveiled the design of Ras Abu Aboud Stadium, the seventh 2022 FIFA World Cup stadium design to be released. The stadium will have a 40,000 capacity and is due for completion in 2020.
Yasser Al Mulla is Landscape & Sport Turf Management Senior Manager at the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy. He will be one of the seminar speakers during the ESSMA Summit 2018 and will take part in two seminars on Day 2. In the morning session he will participate in the Pitch Management Seminar where the main focus will be on Turf Development Projects. In the afternoon session, Yassel Al Mulla will update participants about the Stadium Progress of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar during the Stadium Development II Seminar.
ESSMA supported the French Professional Football League – LFP – with a Belgian stadium tour for 30 representatives from 13 clubs. The delegation visited KV Oostende, Royal Antwerp FC, KAA Gent, KV Mechelen and STVV to listen and learn how they are managing topics within CRM, hospitality, ticketing, construction and revenue generation.
On October 22, VTB Arena Park, home of FC Dynamo Moscow, officially announced the completion of the first construction phase; the new football pitch and tribunes of the reconstructed “Dynamo” stadium. The stadium is planned to be fully operational in April 2018 while the first match is scheduled for 5 June 2018.
