Frank Wijnveld has held various positions for more than 13 years within the police force, before he joined PSV Eindhoven in 2002. As manager of the Philips Stadium he was responsible (until 2012) for the entire stadium operation including match operations, safety & security management, facility management, real estate management and (stadium) events. He has many years of experience in the design and management of large-scale events (including stadium concerts), was part of a large international network and developed several innovations in the field of security and crowd management along with some leading companies. Within the Netherlands, he has spent many years as an expert in the committee Football & Safety of the Ministry of Internal affairs, the advisory board safety at the Dutch FA (KNVB) and various inquiry commissions within football and safety. Frank is also an advisor to the Dutch Knowledge Center for Event Security (Event Safety Institute) and he is acting UEFA Security Officer since 2013.
