Montpellier HSC

Short history

Stade de la Mosson (French pronunciation is a football stadium in Montpellier, France. It is the home ground of Montpellier HSC (Ligue 1). To host the 1998 World Cup the stadium was entirely rebuilt, the capacity was increased from 16.000 to 32.900 (all-seater). It was also used as a venue for group stage matches in the 2007 Rugby World Cup.

The stadium also hosted a semi-final game in the 2012–13 Heineken Cup (rugby) between Clermont and Munster on 27 April 2013.
