Mouscron-Péruwelz

Short history

Royal Mouscron-Peruwelz is a Belgian football club located in the town of Mouscron, in the western province of Hainaut. The club was formed in the spring of 2010 as a result of the merging of bankrupt club R.E. Mouscron and R.R.C. Peruwelz. The team plays in the Belgian Pro League for the first time ever, after winning the Belgian Second Division promotion play-offs in the 2013–14 season.

Stade Le Canonnier is a multi-use stadium in Mouscron, Belgium. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of Royal Mouscron-Peruwelz. The stadium has a capacity of 11,300.
