The stadium (GENERALI Arena) is located in a central area of Prague, in the district Prague 7. It has been the home stadium of our club since 1917. It neighbors with one of Prague’s greatest parks, Stromovka, and is alongside one of Prague’s most important roads, Milady Horákové Street. The original stadium was destroyed by fire in 1934. All the stadium facilities were destroyed, as well as all the trophies, historical materials and photographs. However, in twenty months, a new main stand had been built, thanks to devotion of the club’s supporters. Three years later, the main stand was built – since then, the stadium has gone through many reconstructions that have shaped it into the stadium it is today. GENERALI Arena is also the home stadium for the Czech national team, which plays its most important qualification battles and friendly matches here. Total capacity is 18.944 including VIP seats. GENERALI Arena is clasified as UEFA category 4 stadium.
