Normally, about 50% of fans uses public transport to go to the stadium on matchdays. Stadiums have also encouraged this behavior with several promotions. Chances are real that once fans will be returning to the stadiums, they will continue to use public transport. This has a lot of implications for the crowd management on the trains and busses and will require some behavioral changes for fans.
Which measures will be needed aside from safe distancing and face masks? How can you avoid contamination in closed spaces where a lots of people come together?
Andrea Soehnchen is an expert in the field of safety on public transport. She has acquired experience at the International Association of Public Transport and will share some insights on the upcoming changes in public transport and subsequent stadium ingress and egress.
