Governance update: Cyril De Greve appointed as new Managing Director
During ESSMA’s 5th edition of the annual ESSMA Summit at Estádio do Dragão, home of FC Porto, President John Beattie informed the participants on the appointment of Cyril De Greve as new Managing Director of the Association.
During the Advisory Committee, held on 21 January, Cyril De Greve was appointed as new Managing Director of the organisation. He will take over the day-to-day management of Dimitri Huygen, who will remain as member of the Executive and Advisory Committee.

The Advisory Committee also welcomed two new board members: Francesco Gianello and José Guerra Álvarez. Both are appointed for a 5 year term in the Advisory Committee. Francesco Gianello is Head of Stadium & Facilities at Juventus, while José Guerra Álvarez is Corporate Operations Director at LaLiga.
The 5th edition of the ESSMA Summit gathers 375 stadium industry professionals to the Estádio do Dragão of FC Porto. The first ever sold out Summit has 30 stadium experts sharing best practices and challenges in their daily operations.
