Industry update: more on development, ticketing and data

Construction & Development

 

  • Forest Green Rovers have been given the green light on their new sustainable stadium after being granted outline planning permission. Eco Park will be a 5,000 capacity state-of-the-art wooden stadium along with landscaped parking and two pitches, one of which will be a 4G playing surface, with access for the local community.


  • Everton FC has revealed the final designs of its new 52,000-seater stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock on Liverpool’s waterfront. In addition, the plans include extensive public spaces for use on both matchdays and non-matchdays featuring a Fan Plaza to the east of the stadium which will provide a focus for pre and post-match entertainment and activity. 

 

 

Operations & Ticketing

 

  • BV Vitesse is launching the Vitesse Abonnement for the remaining of the season. With a pay-per-month subscription, fans of BV Vitesse receive a season card for the remaining matches of the season at GelreDome. 



 

General News

 

  • Keeping fans and the media updated on the Bundesliga’s star players is a key strategy in helping to build and improve the league’s brand and reach. Every player in the Bundesliga will have an online profile on the league’s website and app, with biographical facts such as their nationality, birthday and age as well as information on their career and most recent matches.
