Safety & Security
Hammarby IF is recruiting more matchday SLO's as their importance keeps growing. The club wants to expand the dialogue with their fans and offer their services to other sections in the arena including the family stand and the away section.
Ulster Rugby is planning to enhance the matchday experience at Kingspan Stadium. The upgrades will include new digital turnstile scanners, LED floodlights, two HD large screens, the latest audio-visual technology in the A&L Goodbody Premium Lounge, along with an improved queuing system and an increased number of contactless F&B terminals.
Operations & Ticketing
- ESSMA Corporate Partner, 3D Digital Venue, has integrated its technology in Sevilla FC’s current ticketing platform. With the 3D Seat Maps Ticketing Integration, Sevilla FC fans can now view their seat prior to purchasing their ticket.
SMART & Sustainability
Ipswich Town FC is switching to a sustainable waste solution. Around 40 large commercial wheelie bins will be provided for the mixed recycling, cardboard, food waste and general waste as well as a glass recycling solution. Over 90% of all commercial waste will be recycled to support Ipswich Town FC’s recycling targets.
Puskas Arena, host of the ESSMA Summit 2020 pre-tour, has been appointed as host venue for the 2022 UEFA Europa League Final during UEFA’s Executive Committee meeting. In addition, Allianz Stadium will host the 2022 UEFA Women’s Champions League Final and Philips Stadion will host the 2023 edition.
- DFL is expanding its eFootball tournaments with the launch of the Virtual Bundesliga (VBL) International Series 2020. As part of the competition online and offline tournaments will take place in multiple countries as they aim to identify the top players from Asia and the Americas.
