Join the 7th BASIS Sustainable Sport Conference
BASIS, British Association for Sustainable Sport, will organise its 7th annual BASIS Conference on 1–2 March at BBC North, MediaCityUK, Salford.
Over 200 industry leaders across the two-day event will explore which role sustainability can play within sport at a national level, to drive forward responsible economic activity, environmental responsibility and social progress.
Topics include:
- Sustainable venue management: with the launch of a new accreditation system for sports stadiums and facilities
- An international perspective: connecting Britain with the global sport sustainability movement
- The role of sport in sustainable practice: water management, energy use, waste and recycling
- Integrating sustainability considerations at all levels of sport: from athletes to administrator
- The importance of sport in the wider sustainability movement: partnering with business and environment sectors
