Restrata returns to the ESSMA Community

ESSMA is pleased to welcome back Restrata as Corporate Partner to the ESSMA Community. Restrata has been a pioneer in smart tech solutions to help multi-nationals safeguard their people, strategic assets and physical infrastructure in some of the most challenging operating environments in the world.

In 2018 Restrata developed an enterprise health and safety software solution called the ‘Restrata Platform’ enabling you to monitor where your people are in real-time - whether they are on site, remote or travelling anywhere on the globe. In April 2020 Restrata started the development of a suite of new “COVID SAFE” software modules to help with the safe return of live sports and major events.

Botan Osman, CEO of Restrata, said:

“I am delighted that Restrata have rejoined ESSMA. We have worked very closely with the ESSMA community over a number of years and are very excited to support the ESSMA network with the safe return of live sports. The capability we provide is unique and our successful deployment for the English Cricket Board demonstrates that the technology can be employed to get sport, and major events back up and running despite the challenges presented by the Pandemic.”

The Restrata Platform for a safe return to sporting events

Restrata’s software platform, originally developed to protect physical infrastructure and people from security & safety threats such as terrorism or industrial accidents, has been designed to ensure stadiums and major sporting events comply with the Government’s COVID-19 regulations on social distancing, providing a unique system to manage capacity at venues and track and trace any coronavirus outbreaks.

Most recently Restrata has been hired by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) to help deliver the world’s first bio secure Test Match series, between England and the West Indies, which began in Southampton on July 8. Restrata implemented its Platform identify the number of people in specific zones, to ensure compliance with social distancing, capacity management and zonal access permissions. The solution also provided the ECB with an accurate, real-time capability to track and trace any suspected outbreaks of Covid-19 in the venues.
