The Swedish Football League joins ESSMA as League Member

ESSMA welcomes Swedish Football League (Föreningen Svensk Elitfotboll) to its wide-ranging network of stadium industry professionals. Through the membership, all Allsvenskan and Superettan clubs will be part of the ESSMA community.

Following this partnership, the Swedish Football League (SEF) and the ESSMA community can now exchange knowledge and learn from each other on different aspects. ESSMA will closely work together with the Swedish Football League and its clubs to optimise stadium development, fan experience and increase safety & security at stadiums by co-organising workshops, contributing in research, content creation and individual support.

“We are excited to join ESSMA and to exchange problem-solving knowledge for our clubs in the Allsvenskan and Superettan. This partnership will give us the opportunity to get in touch with other ESSMA members in the stadium industry and further improve facilities in Sweden.”

Swedish Football League

The SEF has been founded in 1928 and represents the 32 elite football clubs in the two top division of Sweden, Allsvenskan and Superettan. The association does not organise competitions but works in cooperation with the Swedish Football Association and its member clubs, sponsors and partners. The goal is to improve and develop the Swedish elite football system on different aspects including economics, results, commerce and administration.

“We are glad to welcome the Swedish Football League to our ESSMA community. We hope to help them as much as possible by sharing best practices and expertise of the ESSMA members with them.”
