ESSMA is glad to announce that Allianz Stadium, home of Juventus, will host the seventh edition of the ESSMA Summit. After a successful 2020 edition in Budapest, we are delighted to invite all our members to join us in Turin for the ESSMA Summit 2021.
As the most recent renovation dated from 1975, Stade Bauer was long time due for an in-depth renovation. In June 2019, Red Star FC, the club playing at Stade Bauer, announced plans to completely renovate its stadium into a multifunctional, modern stadium that can host the teams for years to come and support the ambition to grow.
For the third year in a row, FC Barcelona organised the Sports Technology Symposium at the famous Camp Nou stadium. With a clear vision on leadership, the club embraced technology and innovation as never before. As such, the event became part of the Barca Innovation Hub, the club's platform to facilitate networking and cooperation in various domains. The goal is clear: be the best in the world. About 500 people from across the globe were brought together during this 2-day event. A mix of topics were presented by speakers with different backgrounds in soccer, basketball, baseball, Formula 1 and other sports and technological domains.
Last week we had a chat with Michael Lloyd, Deputy Stadium Manager at Arsenal FC and speaker on the first day of the ESSMA-BASIS Smart & Sustainable Stadium Workshop that will take place at Emirates and Twickenham Stadium in London from 7 to 8 June 2017.
Legia Warszawa, a long standing ESSMA member, communicated that majority owner Dariusz Mioduski has completed the buyout of the minority shareholders, giving him 100 percent ownership of the club.
