The last keynote of Day 1 focused on the Fan Journey. Alberto Colombo, Deputy General Secretary EPFL kicked-off with presenting their Fan Attendance Report. Followed by presentations of Eric Cosset, Director Product and Development Disneyland Paris, Benjamin Steen, Head of Digital Projects and CRM FC Bayern Munich and Rory Sheridan, Head of Sponsorship Europe at Diageo (Guinness). Benjamin Steen shared how FC Bayern Munich digitalised the Allianz Arena and how they reach, communicate and build a relationship with their 650 million fans worldwide.

One of the keynote sessions focused on stadium lifecycle. An introduction was provided by Dimitri Huygen, Managing Director ESSMA, followed by presentations from Martin Murphy, Stadium Director Aviva Stadium and Eric Hart, Head of Tampa Sports Authority managing Raymond James Stadium. Eric Hart focused his presentation on long-term sustainability within several stadium projects in Tampa Bay area.

ESSMA supported KNVB Expertise with a Stadium Exploitation Tour to three German stadiums: Commerzbank Arena, Sparda-Bank-Hessen-Stadion and Opel Arena. KNVB Expertise is a joint initiative consisting of Eredivisie CV, CED, KNVB (Royal Dutch Football Association) and FBO (Federation of Paid Football Organisations). Their aim is to professionalise Dutch (paid) football in terms of development.
