ESSMA is glad to announce that the sixth edition of the ESSMA Summit will be hosted at Groupama Arena, home of Ferencvárosi TC. After a successful 2019 edition in Porto, we are delighted to invite you to join us in Budapest for the ESSMA Summit 2020.
A crowd of over 375 engaged ESSMA delegates came together to share ideas, learn best practices and network at the fifth annual ESSMA Summit in Porto at Estádio do Dragão. Organised by the European Stadium & Safety Management Association (ESSMA), in partnership with ECA and European Leagues, this must-attend stadium industry event could welcome representatives of clubs, stadiums, leagues, federations amongst others.
During ESSMA’s Safety & Security Workshop in Copenhagen, David Lewis - Head of Security & Stadium Safety Officer - shared insights with participants on how Everton FC have strengthened the collaboration between stewards and the local police and their advanced CCTV system to improve the overall safety at Goodison Park.

On 13 and 14 November 2018, ESSMA organised its 3rd Safety & Security Workshop. After two successful editions at Stuttgart and Dortmund, this edition of the Safety & Security workshop took place in Copenhagen at FC København’s Telia Parken and at Brøndby IF’s Brøndby Stadium, where over 55 ESSMA Members got the chance to network and get new insights during presentations given by experts in their field.
