The European Stadium & Safety Management Association will assemble during the Smart Stadium Workshop, organized in cooperation with BASIS (British Association for Sustainable Sport). The event will take place in London (UK) from 7 to 8 June 2017, both in Emirates and Twickenham Stadium

The European Club Association (ECA) conducted a survey focused on Fan Entertainment in partnership with ESSMA, The European Stadium and Safety Management Association. 

From 8 to 9 March, an ESSMA delegation traveled to Dublin for the first preparatory steps of the organization of the 4th ESSMA Summit. This included meetings with the stakeholders of Aviva Stadium, Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) and the Dublin Convention Bureau. 

ESSMA developed a report on the impact of UEFA EURO 2016 on French stadium development. This report combines learnings and outcomes from different sources: 1) Rapport Grand Stades EURO 2016 2) ex-ante assessment of the economic impact of EURO 2016 and the economic and social impact of EURO 2016 by Centre de Droits et d’Economie du Sport (CDES) 3) Stadium Development panel discussion from the ESSMA Summit 2017 in Lyon, France. 

Major international sporting and other public events present serious policing and security challenges for host countries. As well as taking place in large, complex and dispersed locations, such events can attract a range of criminal activities from disorder and violence to cyberattacks and even terrorism. 

The European Stadium & Safety Management Association (ESSMA) organizes yearly events (workshops, stadium tours, summit,..) in order to bring value to its members, to share best practices and stimulate networking in the stadium and major sports venue industry. 

The European Stadium & Safety Management Association (ESSMA) will assemble during the Pitch Management Workshop that will take place in Leicester (UK) from 10 to 11 May 2017. Delegates will enjoy panel discussions, pitch visits & workshops, presentations and a networking dinner.
