Keynotes
At our annual Keynote session, you will get an insight into the latest trends and innovations in stadium management and sports venue operations presented by industry leaders.
This year's keynote sessions will be announced soon and will feature top venues from both Europe and overseas.
Seminar Sessions
During our annual survey and MasterMind Groups the following two topics were indicated to be important by our members: Ingress - Access Control (Safety & Security) and Connected Stadium (Fan Experience). During the seminar we bring the output of a full year of research on both topics (survey, interviews, bestpractices), combined with a practical showcase on how a European club has tackled this challenge into an opportunity.
Our 1,5-hour seminar sessions are designed to provide you with industry insights (by ESSMA team) and practical guidance from a club perspective. Explore what each section has in store for you:
🏟️ Safety & Security: “Safely welcoming fans (ingress - access control & technology)”
- Featuring: SGSA, Juventus FC, Wembley Stadium, Moonshot, Tomorrowland & KAA Gent
📊 Marketing & Commerce: "The connected experience”
- Featuring: The Fan Experience Company, Sporting CP, CD Leganes & RSC Anderlecht (Adyen technology)
Discover how we create the seminars
Output: our seminar sessions are packed with valuable insights and strategies that you can implement to enhance your stadium operations, fan engagement, and safety & security.
Presentations & panel discussions
In addition to the seminars, we also provide shorter presentations & panel discussions that offer insights into day-to-day topics within the stadium industry. Examples include:
- Hospitality Panel: defining a hospitality concept for the modern fan.
- Sustainability case studies: practical, sustainable implementations by stadium operators
- Stadium development cases: Exclusive insights in the latest stadium development projects from Spain
- Sustainability Panel: Panel discussion on how stadium operators can manage the sustainability rules, regulations and recommendations
- Software-driven stadium operations: How technology is helping to streamline stadium operations
Master Mind Sessions
Master Mind Sessions are one-hour sessions where a group of individuals from one specific domain of stadium management come together to discuss stadium challenges today and exchange experiences. These sessions normally take place online but once a year they meet physically at our ESSMA Summit. With the input of the Master Mind group, ESSMA executes research, surveys and interviews that result into concrete best practices and toolkits for members. There are 3 Master Mind Groups: Safety & Security, Marketing & Commerce, Facility Management & Operations. More info about the Master Mind Groups can be found here >>>
If you wish to sign up for one of the Master Mind sessions, please email yari@essma.eu. To participate in the physical Master Mind during the Summit, you will receive another invitation after ordering your ticket on which you can register.
